This 8-day trans-Himalayan journey blends Ladakh’s cultural highlights, high-altitude passes, and breathtaking lakes with the adventurous drive into Himachal Pradesh. Begin in Leh, acclimatizing while exploring monasteries and palaces. Cross the world’s highest motorable pass, Khardung La, into the enchanting Nubra Valley, and venture further to the border village of Turtuk. Continue through the rugged Shyok Valley to the ever-changing blue waters of Pangong Lake before returning to Leh via Chang La Pass. The adventure culminates with the legendary Leh–Manali Highway, crossing high passes, surreal landscapes, and the Atal Tunnel, ending amidst the lush greenery of Manali.

Route: Airport – Leh (By Air)
Place Covered: Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace

Arrival at Leh Airport, meet and greet with our representative, and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free for acclimatization to the rarefied high altitude. Late afternoon visit Shanti Stupa (for panoramic views of Leh) and the historic Leh Palace. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day : 02
Route: Leh – Sham Valley Sightseeing – Leh
Place Covered: Hall of Fame, Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Magnetic Hill, Sangam (Indus–Zanskar Confluence)

Full-day sightseeing tour around Leh: visit the Hall of Fame Museum built by the Indian Army, the sacred Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, the mysterious Magnetic Hill, and the spectacular confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers at Sangam. Return to Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day : 03
Route: Leh – Khardung La – Nubra Valley

After breakfast, drive across Khardung La (18,380 ft), the world’s highest motorable road, into the enchanting Nubra Valley. Explore Diskit Monastery and later visit the Hunder Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy camel rides on double-humped Bactrian camels. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day : 04
Route: Nubra – Turtuk – Nubra (Day Excursion)
Place Covered: Hunder – Turtuk Village – return

Distance / Time Taken: 180 km round trip (7–8 hrs approx)
Road Condition: Mostly good, rough patches after Bogdang.
Excursion to Turtuk Village, the last Balti village before the Indo–Pak border. Famous for apricot orchards, stone houses, wooden bridges, and unique Balti culture with views of the Karakoram range. Return to Nubra by evening. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day : 05
Route: Nubra – Shyok – Pangong Lake

Road Condition: Rough after Agham, otherwise decent.
Drive from Nubra to Pangong Lake via the Shyok River Valley. Arrive at Pangong Tso, the breathtaking lake at 14,270 ft, famous for its shifting shades of blue. Evening free to enjoy the serene beauty of the lake. Overnight stay near Pangong.
Day : 06
Route: Pangong – Chang La – Leh
Place Covered: Thiksey Monastery, Druk Padma Karpo School (3 Idiots School), Sindhu Ghat

Road Condition: Steep climb at Chang La, rest fair.
After sunrise at Pangong, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,586 ft). En route, visit Thiksey Monastery, the 3 Idiots School (Druk Padma Karpo Institute), and Sindhu Ghat. Arrive in Leh by evening. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day : 07
Route: Leh – Sarchu – Jispa
Place Covered: Tanglang La, Moore Plains, Lachung La, Nakee La, Sarchu – Jispa

Road Condition: Long mountain drive with high passes, mix of smooth and rough stretches.
Early departure for Jispa on the famous Leh–Manali Highway. Cross Tanglang La Pass, traverse the vast Moore Plains, climb Lachung La & Nakee La, descend through the thrilling Gata Loops, and continue past Sarchu into Himachal Pradesh. Overnight stay in Jispa.
Day : 08
Route: Jispa – Atal Tunnel – Manali
Place Covered: Keylong, Sissu, Atal Tunnel, Manali Drop
Distance / Time Taken: 95 km (3–4 hrs approx)
Road Condition: Smooth roads, easy drive.
Drive through Keylong and the scenic Sissu Valley with waterfalls and riverside views. Cross the engineering marvel Atal Tunnel (9.02 km, world’s longest high-altitude tunnel) and descend into the green Kullu Valley. Drop at Manali by afternoon/evening. Tour concludes.
