Overview

This 8-day Ladakh adventure takes you across some of the most breathtaking and remote landscapes of the Himalayas. Starting with acclimatization in Leh, you’ll explore the historic monasteries, palaces, and the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. The journey then leads you over the mighty Khardung La Pass into the enchanting Nubra Valley, with its sand dunes and double-humped camels.

A full-day excursion to Turtuk, India’s last village before the Pakistan border, offers a unique glimpse into Balti culture and stunning views of the Karakoram range. From Nubra, travel along the scenic Shyok River to the magical Pangong Lake, famous for its shifting shades of blue.

The adventure deepens as you drive through remote routes along Maan, Merak, and Chushul, past war memorials and untouched Changthang landscapes, to reach Hanle—home to a 17th-century monastery and the world’s highest astronomical observatory. On the return, experience the charm of hot springs at Chumathang before concluding the journey in Leh.

This itinerary is perfect for travelers seeking scenic drives, high-altitude lakes, border villages, and offbeat adventures while experiencing Ladakh’s culture, spirituality, and wilderness.
